OUR STORY

It all began in 2005 when Corina made her dreams a reality and opened a bridal boutique at her home in South West Sydney along with the help of her 3 daughters, with the hopes of one day passing it on to them. Legacy Brides eventually graduated into a shopfront on the busy bridal corridor of Parramatta Rd in Petersham, where it operated successfully from 2008 to 2024 servicing so many wonderful brides and their families. Corina always focused on helping brides feel like a part of her own family and along with her daughters developed Legacy Brides into a warm and welcoming bridal store with a focus on helping brides achieve their dream gowns. 

 

Along comes 2025 and Corina is ready to pass on the legacy to her middle daughter, Carol, who had been working closely with Corina behind the scenes over the past 15 years. 

 

With this experience under her belt and a love for fashion design, sustainability and vintage clothing, Carol felt there was an opportunity to help brides explore more possibilities and options when it came to finding their dream gown and was ready to continue the legacy in her own way. And so the next chapter in the LB story has begun!

 

As the new owner, Carol is so proud and excited to continue having Corina, her mother, play a special part in the LB story by staying on as our alterations specialist and running our Home Studio Outlet. Corina’s passion and talent for creating bespoke accessories and getting the right fit has not diminished in anyway and looks forward to working with Carol to help her build the new LB brand and story.
